Two new episodes of micro/Maker are coming up, featuring thoughts on time and emotion in music from Ania Vu and Phong Tran.

Ania shares how personal hardship shaped her sense of time — leading her to create music that resists forward motion and draws inspiration from poetic pacing and the natural world. Phong talks about how architecture and emotion guide his creative process, and how he translates feeling into sound through a loop of improvisation, sketching, and reduction.
