New on micro/Maker: From Precision to Possibility

And ICYMI: Living Classical launches this Sunday, and early press is rolling in.

🍃 Loose Leaf Transmissions – Weekly Dispatch

Folks, this dispatch is a little longer than usual – there’s a lot happening this week, and I won’t bury the lede.

Earlier this week, I announced Living Classical, a new independently-produced weekly radio program that grows out of my years of curatorial work in broadcasting. This is a huge next chapter for me, and I’m thrilled to finally share it with you. The first episodes begin streaming this Sunday, and you can follow along each week at livingclassicalradio.com or right here through this newsletter.

There’s already been some early press about the launch: Cincinnati’s Movers & Makers ran a lovely piece about the show, which you can read here.

And one more important thing on this front: as I transition out of my full-time job and step fully into independent work, your support genuinely matters.

If you’ve been enjoying Living Classical, music/Maker, or micro/Maker, I’d be grateful if you’d consider joining me on Patreon for just $8/month. You’ll get early access to new radio episodes as they’re produced, plus I’m planning to share more behind-the-scenes materials about how all of this work comes together.

But I don’t want Living Classical to eclipse everything else – so let me also point you toward this week’s new micro/Maker episodes, featuring a conversation with James May on how improvisation reshaped his composing, and a thoughtful chat with Anna Huffka about the intentional, care-centered artistry behind her salon.
