Earlier this week, I announced Living Classical, a new independently-produced weekly radio program that grows out of my years of curatorial work in broadcasting. This is a huge next chapter for me, and I’m thrilled to finally share it with you. This Sunday, December 7 – Living Classical with Tyler Kline debuts online and on public radio stations across the country!

The debut episode of Living Classical kicks off a series of programs all about winter. Not the postcard version, but the shifting moods, textures, and atmospheres that shape the season.

Hour 1 moves through drifting snow and sudden storms, with music by Anuj Bhutani, Jonathan Hannau, Nicky Sohn, Outi Tarkiainen, Asuka Kakitani, Theresa Martin, and Gifrants.

Hour 2 follows the transformations of air and light: prismatic winds, quiet thaw, the slow build of stillness. You’ll hear works by Zachary Good, Chloe Upshaw, Shuying Li, Anna Appleby, Angélica Negrón, and David Crowell.
